I've been a professional musician for 20+ years on both electric and upright acoustic bass. Currently based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama but available for gigs or studio work throughout the Southeastern US and beyond.
Looking to collaborate with good, working musicians on any interesting projects, lucrative or creative (or both!). I definitely play for the enjoyment & love of music as well the camaraderie with band mates, but I am also all business in my approach to the work in terms of preparation, gig promptness and on-stage performance.
I'm open to most genres of music, I dig everything from instrumental jazz-funk to roots and Americana to hard rock to reggae. I've been doing the wedding/corporate circuit for the last couple years, but open to almost any serious, working situation.
